Marble Rock is a city in Floyd County, Iowa, United States, along the Shell Rock River. The population was 326 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km2), of which, 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (4.60%) is water.
As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 326 people, 141 households, and 95 families residing in the city. The population density was 390.1 people per square mile (149.8/km²). There were 157 housing units at an average density of 187.9 per square mile (72.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.39% White, and 0.61% from two or more races.
There were 141 households out of which 26.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.6% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% were non-families. 30.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 2.78.
In the city the population was spread out with 21.5% under the age of 18, 10.4% from 18 to 24, 22.4% from 25 to 44, 25.2% from 45 to 64, and 20.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
